Appomattox Outdoor Equipment, Inc., operating in central Virginia, is centrally located in Appomattox County, just minutes from Downtown Historic Appomattox and Appomattox Court House National Historical Park. Map and Directions Company History
Appomattox Outdoor Equipment, Inc., a lawn mower retail and repair shop, opened for business on March 8, 2004 when it became a certified Cub Cadet Dealer. The company offered a full line of Cub Cadet lawn mowers, lawn tractors, Z-mowers, commercial tanks, chainsaws, weedeaters, and Troy-Bilt garden equipment including tillers, chippers, and lawn vacuums.
Today, the company has expanded the product offering to include Briggs & Stratton portable and stand-by generators, a wide selection of E-TON 4-wheelers, and most recently, Appomattox Outdoor Equipment became an Elite Stihl dealer, offers a full line of Stihl products, and has two service mechanics who have completed the highest level of Gold Stihl School. The company stocks a large inventory of repair and replacement parts including batteries, belts, and blades for all makes and models of lawn mowers. In addition, Appomattox Outdoor Equipment, Inc. has a wide assortment of rental equipment.
Aside from selling and renting outdoor equipment and replacement parts, Appomattox Outdoor Equipment, Inc. has professional mechanics who are able to repair a wide range of makes and models of outdoor equipment including, but not limited to, lawnmowers, generators, 4-wheelers, jetskis, chainsaws, and weedeaters.

Cory Osborne, Owner
Prior to the company's establishment, owner Cory Osborne had 12 years experience in the sales and service of all makes of lawn and garden equipment, generators, 4-wheelers, scooters, and go-carts. As an active member of the Appomattox community through the Appomattox Volunteer Fire Department, Cory believed it was important to offer customers the best products and excellent service at competitive prices. Today, he is an authorized service provider for Cub-Cadet, White, MTD, Stihl, Kohler, Briggs & Stratton, E-TON, and Titan equipment. In addition, he is an Expert Dealer for Kohler.
